Cruise out of Galveston, TX

My DH and I want to go on a cruise this Fall. Where is the best place to look for deals on cruises?

Also, would a travel agent be able to get a better deal than what is offered on the discount travel sites like Orbitz?

Any suggestions / guidance would be greatly appreciated (we really need to get away from the rat race for a little while)!

Try www.vacationstogo.com they have lots of cruise deals. Also cruisecritic.com is a good source of info too.

Carnival Cruise lines leaves from Galvestion. try there. I have always got better deals dealing direct than I had from any of the other sites

I agree, deal with Carnival. In fact my daughter and son in law leave this SUnday on a 7 day cruise outof Galveston and I think they only paid like 400 a piece. This is my daughter's second cruise on Carnival.

You might also try a travel agent. The agent we went thru was able to get us a better deal than online and she gave us lots of helpful info.
