My fiance and I want to fly to IL for my brother's naval graduation on March 19th. The only problem is we waited too late to book flights for $200 each and now tickets are $400 a piece. We don't even have the money for the $400 let alone the $800. It looks like we're going to have to drive 13+ hours unless anyone knows of cheap, last minute flights. Any help would be great!
okay, I see how you are having a problem. Is there any possibility of changing your travel dates at all? Because if you go to expedia and search Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to ORD on the 19th to the 22nd, you can get flights for under $200 each total.....
On the actual dates you are looking for though, sorry :(
My brother's graduation is early in the morning on the 19th. Thanks for trying. I really hope if we can't find tickets that we won't have a rough time driving. I hope it won't be snowing while we're up there.
Well, I'm just about 40 minutes north of Great lakes and we are getting stupid rain right now but no snow :) The weather has been mild and I hope it works out for you. It's not a bad drive from ATL to Chicago. Done it plenty of times when I lived in Jacksonville :) My hubby and I like to take turns driving a few hours at a time, maybe that would work for you too :) Have a safe trip.
