Re: Visiting Orlando for a weekend (from England)
@enginerd - I'm only the Fri evening to Mon evening. Do you think the entertainment book would be worth it?
@sns4063 - what's wrong with Taco Bell? Can you recommend any more "authentic" Mexican/Tex-Mex places in Orlando?
Thanks all who have helped so far, I'm making notes in a little book of your tips :-)

Jason's is ok, Golden Corral is pretty good and cheap. There is a Friendly's Ice cream on I-drive that I'm partial to, it's not cheap but you may be able to score q's. Here is link to their site Friendly's - Where Ice Cream Makes the Meal!. If you just want to stay fed cheap, there are lots of all-you-can-eat buffets in that area. Hope you have a great visit!

At Taco Bell-you get what you pay for-and it's cheap. I've personally never been to FL (going at the end of the month), so I couldn't tell you where to go. I live in TX, so I am partial to restaurant around here.

I don't think an entertainment book would be worth if for a weekend stay- especially when you consider shipping.
