HELP: Need Discounted Rental Car B/C of Bereavement

Due to the passing of my grandmother-in-law, we have to rent a vehicle to drive out of town to the services. Where can I locate some deep discounts for renting a minivan?

I'm not too familiar with renting a car, but I know Coke used to have some codes for Enterprise or Avis, forget which company. So if you have some coke code points saved up, might want to go look over there. Or get in touch with your insurance, they sometimes have deals too.

If you have an Entertainment Book they have coupons for usually Enterprise, Avis, Hertz, Budget, National and Alamo car rental companies. Also you could check out bookingbuddy.com, we have used them a few times and have gotten some pretty good deals. Also check your local area for car rental companies and call a few. If you speak to a manager and explain situation, you might be able to get a better deal. You might want to keep this in mind - we have found that a lot of car rental companies charge per mile for mini vans, but not for SUV's. Good luck on finding a good rental and sorry for your loss.

My son passed early this moring (Dec 22) and I need to get a rental so my kids in Florida can come home to Virginia for the Funeral. Christmas wiped us out. I hate to ask for help on a website but I don't have much of an option at this point. Thanks for reading.

There is a rental company called Rent a Wreck. They rent used but still reliable cars. You might check them out. link

Contact the funeral home. They should be a able to give you a list of carriers that have bereavement rates and will likely have to give you a form to take advantage of those rates.
