HAPPY DANCE Easy Saver Carnival Cruise Line

Family members are getting married on a cruise early next year. When they planned this last April that asked if guests who wanted to go on the cruise with them to go ahead and book the cruise via a planner with Carnival. Me being a frugal person, I checked all prices and found the rate I was given was comparable to the rate of other sites. Therefore, we booked the cruise through the Carnival agent. We were given the option of Easy Saver plan, which means that if the rate drops I can request for my rate to be lowered on my cruise if I prove to them the rate dropped.

Since then, I have been watching the rates weekly. So yesterday, I noticed the rate had dropped $90.00 a person. I submitted all the required information to Carnival cruise line and WAA LAA my price for the cruise has dropped $180.00 for DH and me.

As you can imagine, I am thrilled by my savings and now I can justify an excursion or spending a little on the boat.

Has anyone else ever used this option and what have your experiences been?

Jolly,
Carnival used to always just adjust the rate with an OBC if the trip is in its after final pmt stage.. if before then yes they drop it right from the balance owed.

The easy saver is relatively new and im glad to hear it offers the same thing. I know of recent friends who hav egotten their price lowered even on the easy saver, i just believe its not advertised that way !!!!

Its so exciting to have a price drop good for you..

When and where are you sailing.. what ship etc..

We are going out of Jacksonville on the Fascination on March 20.

We have 10 rooms booked in our party. A cousin is getting married on the ship so we have to arrive by 10:00 to board.

The Fascination just got a $30 million revamp so it should be really nice. We are ssssoooo excited. I can't want to go to Half Moon Cay. I have never been there and I hear it is wonderful.

I just got back yesterday from the fascination. It is gorgeous. Try to see if y'all can get a drink card for your group. Drinks are 7.50 each. You can get a drink card and pay $50 a day per person and drink unlimited if you are with a large party. It includes beer, wine, liquor, etc. I don't know if y'all drink or not but we had 146 people all between 25 and 40 and we bumped their liquor sales to 35% higher than they have ever been lmao. We had a great time. Make sure to get a patch for the sea sickness and change it after 2 days. I didn't and I got so sick in between the old one wearing off and the new one kicking in. Have fun.

No WAY! I was on the same cruise that you were!! Had a wonderful time, although I wasn't aware of the drink card...bummer. I was crackin' up about the liquor sale comment myself, what a riot. Yes it was a little rocky for me though...blah! but I kept the bonine going and I was fine, although my house hasn't stopped moving since I've been home

Do you know if this card is good on Half Moon Cay?
