Default SeaWorld - Orlando Deals?

We are headed to SeaWorld this Sunday (decided to go there at the last minute) Does anyone know of any deals/coupon codes etc. for discounted tickets. Or.. any places around the Orlando area that may sell discounted tickets?

Also, does anyone have any tips that I need to know for there?

Reps for any help you may offer! TY!

I know that they give military personel/family discounts or free admission. Something like that. My sister's husband is in the army and they go once every other year. I can't remember if it's for free or discount. I honestly don't know of any other discount.

Default Re: SeaWorld - Orlando Deals?

I know there are deals you can get if you order your tickets online but I think you have to do that 7 days in advance for that to work.

I might have some tips that I could share. We were just there in July. Are you going to visit the park more than once?

1. If you like the rides and want to ride the new rollercoaster Manta I highly recommend that you get to the park early so you are there when it opens and then head straight for that. When we were there the wait time was ALWAYS at least an hour and usually upwards of 95 minutes or so. It was still an hour wait half an hour prior to closing but it is really AMAZING so if you like rollercoasters you have to ride it!

2. Journey to Atlantis typically has about an hour wait but if you don't want to invest that time and don't mind riding it at the end of the day usually around 8:30 or so the wait time drops to about 20 minutes if that and it's still hot enough to enjoy a water ride.

3. Child swap is a must and makes it so much easier as I'm sure you already know and you can take up to 4 riders per child swap ticket.

4. We thought the food was overpriced and not very good. We have been about 4 times and now we just pack a cooler with sandwiches, yogurts, fruit and drinks, bring paper plates and pay the extra $7 I think for preferred parking and went out to the car at lunch and ate there. Nothing fancy but it's hit or miss with my kids when it comes to eating at the parks and they actually ate better removed from all the activity of the parks and we used the money we saved on their souvenirs (very cool light up swords that featured 17 different light sequences...LOL). I think a kid's meal is around $7 and does NOT include a drink...that's another $2.50 or so. Supposedly they have tables that you can eat at right there in that parking area but it was so hot we just decided to sit in our car and that worked out great for us.

5. Be aware of when the shows are ending near attractions. We were heading into the Wild Artic ride but still working out the logistics of the child swap. The show across from us let out and you would have thought that the talent at the show got on the microphone and instructed everyone in the audience to immediately head over to the closest attraction. The majority of the crowd literally made a direct path straight over to the line. We barely jumped in before we were at the very end!!

6. You can take some really cool pictures at the underwater Dolphin viewing area as the pods of dolphins swim around after going up to the feeding area. We have some really awesome pics of our kids standing against the glass with 4 or 5 dolphins swimming right behind them.

Have a GREAT time!!

I went to their website and it says $74.95 for adults and $64.95 for children (3-9) but if you buy the pass you can buy a fun pass and come back until the end of the year for free so that's not as bad of a deal if you know you'll be coming back. I live an hour away from Orlando so it would be worth it for me especially since my daughter is 2. I know Busch Gardens does the same here. I hope you enjoy your spur of the moment trip!

Check out this site:

Disney Tickets, Discount Disney World Tickets Orlando Florida , Official Ticket Center

I have never used this source so please verify prior to purchase. My research so far shows it to be a legit site.

Also, do you have AAA. If so, you can get discounted tickets there. Sometimes the Entertainment Books have coupons.

We just got back from Orlando on Friday. The best Seaworld tickets can be found on their website for $64.99 a person good for 2 days. They have a meal plan for $30 for adult and $14 for children up to 10 or 11 years old. You could buy it at the door. If you are staying in the park all day it is surely worth it. (example $3 for a bottle of water times that by 4 people you already paid for the childs ticket.) There are 5 resturants to choose from and you go and get what you want all included in the price. I think we had 4 bowls of watermelon each. Best prices for Disney World Parks and dinner shows are found at mousesaver.com. They will send you a newsletter on the 15th of the month announcing their deals. (Legit sight.) Believe me I did my research before we went. We had no lines in any park. It was the perfect week.

I bought the Seaworld meal plan for about $30 for my nephew and his cousin . It was convient. Bottle water, pizza and fries plus chocolate chip cookies -all you can eat. Soda was also part of the deal. They did share with me some cookies, unoficially. There is no sharing. They give you a wrist band . I have a lifetime season pass on a monthly payment plan. Costs me the same as a 1 day admission. I live in NC and usually go once a year. It also gives me a discount in the park plus free parking. Did it a for a few years and got my husband on the payment also. I season pass also allows the purchase of discount tickets for the rest of the group. You may consider getting 1 season for 1 adult in the family.Takes care of parking and discounts for purchases.Mantra is popular but I really didn't see that much wait time even in July!! Mantra was next to the pizza spot, so the boys would ride a few times , take a break with food, etc and then get back in line, while my husband and I waited at the the restaurant.

I love Seaworld and the crowds should be much smaller in Sept.
The shows are super.I never get tired of seeing them.
Dining with Shamu and the behind the scenes tours are fun.
Depends on your budget.

If you don't do the meal plans, consider dining with Shamu. THis could be your big meal for the day. It is buffet style. Really good food.

Still get 1 season pass. The discount is good for all in the group , expecially for dining with Shamu and the behind the scenes tours.

PM me if you need any more tips.

I am a Seaworld lover.
