Default niagara falls, US side

we are thinking about going over Labor Day week-end. Where's a good, reasonable place to stay? Things we should do? Where to eat? Thanks, Julie

We went a few years ago on the weekend before Memorial Day and we had no wait for anything. We were told between Memorial Day and Labor Day you could wait up to two hours even to get seated in a restarant. We stayed on the Canadian side in a suite facing the falls. It included cocktails and a snack buffet, breakfast and one dinner. It was off season and I don't remember how much we paid but it was reasonable especially if your taking kids. We signed up for a tour..there were only four of us on the bus. We arranged it at a rest stop on our way there. I found the hotel on a website.

You might want to look at the Discovery Pass. It includes several attractions. They also have fireworks on Friday night and Sunday night (check schedule) and you can see them from the US side. The Canadian side is nice but, passport or enhanced license needed.

You Do need a passport. But if you have one and are planning on the Canadian side you must see the Canadian Expo. Look it up on google. There is so much to see and a great free air show every Labor day weekend. Besides food and lots of shopping ( new products on the market) the Expo has great 3 D movies, a Medieval show plus lots of extras. Good Luck. On the U.S. side is the Senaca casino which has great food, buffet.

If you have a passport etc. go to the canadian side.
Canada has lots of attractions. The American side has water. And that's about it.
Not sure how long your trip is, don't know how many days you want to stare at the water with nothing else to do.
No I'm not canadian and this is no ad.
People on here from the area will tell you. Niagara Falls USA is not exactly a tourist's dream.
