    Hubby and I just got back from OC last week. We went on a Wed/Thurs. With most of the students away, the beaches weren't crowded and hotel prices were cheap. We stayed at an inexpensive hotel on 9th St, 2 blocks from the boardwalk. We had a full kitchen. The OC Visitor's Center and many hotels have coupon booklets with maps. We stopped by the outlets on the way home and had a wonderful time.
