driving or flying?
We will be in Orlando in 2 weeks staying in a 2/2 resort and have a full kitchen, we obviously want to take advantage of that, and cook as many meals as possible at the resort to save money. Can anyone tell me which stores have low prices and coupon friendly around international drive?![]()

driving or flying?
First of all be prepared, it is HOT here! Don't go ANYWHERE around I-Drive. That is all tourist area and prices will be high. There is a Whole Foods Market around there. I haven't gone there yet. If you travel a bit to the FLorida Mall area (ask how to get there, not far) there is a Publix that is very nice and very coupon friendly. I'm in there several times a week on my way into work. There is also a Target right down the road as well as a K-Mart.

Orlando and most of Florida have PUBLIX. You can find awesome deals in this grocery store. Attached is the link. Future adds have been posted for a few weeks out. They are very coupon friendly and you can use the coupons on the BOGO's. Also, check out the circular because there are always extra coupons there too.

I have a friend who always takes a froen turkey, it thaws in her ice chest on the trip there. She throws it in te oven in a disposable pan overnight, to lessen the heat during the day. They use it for turkey sandwiches and wraps while gone the week.
As a thought!
have fun!!
whenever we go on vacations and have access to a kitchen, we bring the crockpot.....it's the best!!!
Throw everything in in the morning and off you go for the rest of the day, then come back to a great HOT meal.
We make meatball marinara subs:
Frozen meatballs
jar spaghetti sauce
Let cook on low all day, then fill subs and top with cheese.
Southwestern chicken:
Chicken breast
1 big jar of Salsa
Bleans
Throw it all in the crockpot all day and when you get back, all you have to do is make a pot of yellow rice.
BBQ pork sandwiches:
Pork roast
BBQ sauce
Throw it all in the pot, then shred when you get back and fill in sandwiches. Steam some corn on the cob, open a can of baked beans and your good to go!!!
These are just some of our fav dishes when we travel!!
HTH!!
