Need hotel codes and thomas the train

Hi I was looking on the Emabassy suites site and it has a spot for discount codes. I was wondering if any of yall know of any codes that will help us stay cheaper. We are on a VERY tight budget. We are trying to take our boys to see thomas the train. Everything seems to be so expensive. I really just want to make a memory. Please, Any suggestions.

Hey We are going on March 27th in Grapevine Texas. We are really excited and kind of told the kids already before the car broke down and did not realize how expensive our "little trip" was turning out to be.

Has anyone went to this before? we are considering taking DS, but I need more details. What all is there to do besides ride the train and do storytime/videos? Is this a whole day experience? Is it worth driving 4 hours to see?

I will let you know how the train is. I think I am more excited than my kids. We are driving 5 and a half hours to go. My three year old LOVES thomas.

We had a great time even though it was FREEZING! It had rained all day and the wind was non stop. I did find out that you can go without spending any money. If you think you can get away with not riding the train then you get in free. It only cost to ride. For an adult it was a slow tedious ride. But seeing they joy in my boys faces was worth it. They had a great time. You only ride for a couple of miles very slow. It was 16 bucks a person. SO if its worth the money then go for it. If it ever came close to us I would just take the kids and not ride the train.
