Default we like to camp-anyone else?

How many couponers do we have that camp regularly for vacation? I started a new social group for couponing campers. We go about 3x a year for weekends, always to Luray yogi bear in October. I'd love to know of some other good campgrounds for rv's in the states of Virginia, Pennsylvania, New jersey, ohio, deleware. If anybody has any good advice I'd love to hear it. Thanks

We "rv" as well. Hubby says I can't call it camping! LOL.
We are in VA as well, but haven't taken many trips since we have been here (2 yrs). Just our annual Myrtle Beach trip and a few local places.

Pohick Bay Campground is nice and in the summer they have the Pirate's Cove Waterpark.

We are looking for a nice campground in the mountains for the fall...any recommendations?

definately yogi bear luray especially if you have kids. You will most likely have to get on a waiting list if you want to go in October because they book up a year in advance. We love it there and will be going in April as well, they have a 3 day special $129 I do believe which includes a golf cart rental, unlimited mini golf and paddle boats. We always have a blast there.

We "RV" as well but live in Washington. We recently booked or reserved Mother's Day weekend & Father's Day weekend to camp. It's so fun having that get a way to look forward to. Campfire at night is my favorite.

Rving & Nascar need I say more. Hubby can't wait to get going again for this year. We also went to Colorado a couple years ago up in the mountains. We have a toy hauler so we took the Harley and rode in the mountains. It was beautiful.

We love to go tentcamping at least once or twice a year. Eventually we want to get an RV. In OH Maumee Bay State Park is very nice.

My idea of "roughing it" is a Holiday Inn with the remote control missing!

We camp several times a year. We have a pop up tent camper. We are taking the kids to Mammouth Cave in Kentucky for spring break and are camping at the Jellystone campground. We live in Ohio and our favorite place to camp here is East Harbor State Park. It is right on Lake Erie between Marblehead and Port Clinton. We camp at least 3 times a year here. They have decent shower houses, playgrounds, and a nice beach looking at Cedar Point. We just love the area and everytime we ask our kids where do they want to go on vacation it is always camping at the lake. I think we are going to try Indian Creek resort by Geneva - On- The lake this year. Once again it is on Lake Erie.

Kids are grown (one in military one in college), but it still sounds like a place to try. Any other good campgrounds, state parks etc we should check out?

We need to make our Memorial day reservations to get the RV out if its winter storage and get it ready for the summer. We will only be doing short local trips I'm sure (except for our Myrtle Beach trip).

We have an RV & love to camp as well. We go several times during the warmer months. We're in VA as well & tend to stay close to home, so we hit Bethpage & Grey's Point, which I think are a little pricey, but nice places to stay.

We did go to Bristol for the Nascar race last year & go to Kings Dominion for the kids & VA Beach every year. Our church went to Yogi Bear Luray campground last year & they all loved it.
