I just went in March for my honeymoon. Had the best time ever!!!
Make sure to stay on Disney property so you can get extra hours in the park. Learn how to use Faspasses. Try to get a deal on the Dining Plan because it makes your trip hassle free (someone above mentioned free dining plan offers).

Just FYI on the Free Disney Dining Plan. When we booked our trip several months ago it wasn't being offered yet. Then when it was being offered it ended on Oct. 3rd and we weren't arriving until Oct. 11th. Recently I had been seeing a ton of travel agents offering the free plan through December so I called Disney and asked if we could now qualify for free Dining and they said sure. Because we are staying at a value resort we qualified for the free Quick Service plan which is 2 Counter Service meals, 2 snacks per day and a reuseable mug but for only $200 we could upgrade to the Regular Dining Plan which is 1 Table Service meal (can be a character meal), one counter service meal and one snack per day. We were already planning on spending $200 on two character meals that we had booked so we just shifted that to the dining plan upgrade and now we can have 4 more characters meals, 6 counter service meals and 6 snacks each for no extra cost!!!

Hi I just got back from a week at Bay Lake Tower in the MK area and it was very nice. There are pics of the resort here: Live from Bay Lake Tower HAHA

There are some great deals right now at Disney.
WDW is offering free dinng thru the fall! The dining plan can be a great way to save money if you use it properly.
Disney Cruise Line is offering kids sail free in Jan thru April.
Disneyland and Adventures by Disney are also both running deals. For info about the deals check out my website www.travelwiththemagic.com

That depends on when you go becuase Disney has different prices depending the time of year. Summer, spring break, and holidays can sky rocket room prices. Also, price can vary by how many is in your party. You can go to www.disney.com and price one of their value resorts. Pick the room only option to get an idea. HTH!

For those on a strict budget but still wants to enjoy Disney, try the lodgings at Kissimmee which is about 15 min from DW gate. Most hotels there have free shuttle service to DW. You'll also find a lot of WAG and CVS there so you won't get bored. There's Target, Publix, SWM to get your supplies, if necessary. Then pig out in all the restaurants that offer discount coupons, you'll love it there :)

Are you just looking for a room or are you interested in a package? On the Walt Disney World home page in the right hand corner there is a little pull down flap looking thing that says "Special Offers". That is where we found our code so that we could call and request the special pricing we found online. We had already booked our package and paid for it but found they were running a great deal on moderate resorts for fall and changed our resv. and ended up upgrading and being refunded $603.

If you are looking at a value resort there are some good deals out there with free dining. The free dining deal can also be booked at a moderate and deluxe resort.
It is running thru mid Dec and can be booked til Sept 26th.

It’s a Disney Cruise Line® first! The Disney Wonder® Cruise Ship is sailing to Alaska for a four-month season of 7-night cruises in 2011. Departing out of Vancouver, B.C., the ship will call on popular ports such as Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway.
The first Alaskan cruise sets sail on May 3, 2011, with the last cruise of the season scheduled for Aug. 30, 2011.

We have 3 kids, 7, 9 and 13 and then the two of us going/(myself and hubby). What is the best place to stay for 5 people. Everything is geared for 2 kids and 2 adults. My kids are too young to want a separate room. I don't mind a suite but never hear them talk of anything really-you seem penalized for having more than 2 kids-which is defeating the purpose-they are selling another ticket to the park.....
