Chat Rules - Everyone Please Read

This whole chat thing is so upsetting. I dont know when I can talk or what I can talk about. And If I want to talk random. Or if I want to have two different discussions. Why is it that one person seems to ruin the fun for all?

I don't want seperate chats. I want us to all be able to talk amongst each other. And I think that is what most of the chatters want. I think that if there are a few who would rather not talk about life, coupons, CVS, whatever then they should go to their own room.

Waay confusing having so many chat rooms.. Should there be ONE chat room for general chat.. and a Book Chat.. and then a private room for private matters.. but goodness.. aren't we adults? There shouldn't be so many issues popping up in chat and arguing over petty issues. If you need to discuss an issue.. take it to PM and discuss it..

I like the new separated rooms. Haven't been in chat in awhile, but it's nice to know that I can go to another room with other people to discuss things that aren't always coupons or cvs. Not that there's anything wrong with always discussing that, it's just not my cup of tea and this way I'm not being rude to others by talking about other stuff and they're not being rude to me by talking about whatever.

I have a quesssstion....

What are the rules attached to posting links in chat?

Are we NOT allowed or are we ALLOWED to post links to "other" members' Havelists/Wishlists?

EXAMPLE :

If Member A asks in chat "Where might I find such & such coupons?"

And Member B knows where to find the coupons so he/she posts a link to Member C's Havelist....

Is Member B naughty for helping Member A by posting the Havelist link of Member C?

Do I not have the right to post the link?

Can I be helpful and link Mary to Suzie so Suzie can share her coupons with Mary?

It would seem to me, that linking to "ON-site" threads/posts would be permissable.
Cuz if not.....*oh boy!* Our hands will feel tied!

It would seem to me that directing someone to anothers wishlist/havelist would be appropriate. Or if you saw on someones signature line that they have or need something. But if Mary came in and said i have these coupons do you need any... and she leave and suzie comes in.... I would NOT say ... Oh hey Mary has these coupons... unless of course you asked Mary for her permission to let others know of her offering...

Do I make any sence??? This is just my interpretation here... but I am sure someone will let you know how it works.
