I didn't know things had to be done as credit. Now that I'm more into couponing spending a little bit more on something isn't so bad when it goes into an account.

This is great! Thanks so much for the information. I haven't been paying attention to upromise. I opened it maybe a year ago, and only have $16 for buying tires with my debit card. I am going to add all of my cards to upromise now for sure. I also found out that you get money back for shopping at restaurants.com, ebay, and magazines.com! :dance3::dance3:

wow, I'm definetely going to start a Upromise account. Sadly, 13 years I've been missing out!

I'm not sure if any money I earn from my mom and my shopping will end up going to college though lol...well, I already have college tuition paid for, but no books, fees, or dorm.

I pulled out $195 a couple of months ago and sent it to DS 529 account. I really need to get my brother's new cards on his account... I made a bunch from his client lunches!

I have about $55 after 6 years. We don't have any family, so I just kinda check it every so often to see if there is anything new to sign up for. I am doing e-rewards through them now so I'm sure to earn a little faster now. I have one in college, one in high school and one in middle school and every little bit counts!

We also have the citi Upromise card. Use it to buy all the things we would pay cash for (gas, groceries, etc) then pay it off at the end of the month (you'd have to, the interest rate is nuts). We have earned over 2000.00 in 5 years.

just curious- why not link your upromise to your 529? Then it goes dierectly there every so oftena dn you don't have to think about it!

We have an Illinois 529 and upromise no longer allows it to be linked to a upromise account. I got a $200 check a month ago- it probably took about 18 months. The main problem is getting my husband to use it! He hates going through upromise first when he shops online.

Thank you so much for posting the pdf for the withdrawal form. I was just on the upromise site, and it doesn't even look like they give you that option anymore. I want to withdraw the money to make a payment on DH's non-Sallie Mae student loan. I will definitely save this to my computer.

The form is on the site, the easiest way to find it is to search the site for "withdraw" or "withdraw funds" and it comes right up.
