Default Investigating Missing Contributions

This seems to be a new thing, so I thought I'd bring it to your attention:

I had to investigate a couple of online purchases that have not credited in the past 60 days (past the time frame). When I filled out the investigation form, it now requires a copy of the receipt. It can be an email (paste into the comments field) or a scanned copy. I didn't have to do this the last time I launched an investigation.

So hold on to your receipts for any Upromise purchases until after they credit!

Don't forget to get all of the credit that you deserve!

I always seem to have issues getting credit posted from Snapfish. I am sure that others have missing contributions for online purchases, too!

Default Re: Investigating Missing Contributions

I just found out that for the past few years I should have been getting credit for purchases and haven't. I thought it was because I was paying with my cc, which gave me points. Figured I couldn't "double dip", but then on the website I saw that it didn't matter. I only saved a few of my recent grocery bills, so I need to send those in, but I'll also look back on my cc for gas purchases. How easy/hard is it to get these credited back onto my account? Has anyone had luck doing this?

ETA: The following is the email response I received. (They make it sound like even if I pay with my cc, I don't get 'credit' for grocery purchases unless I get them from a participating store using their card. I thought that even if I bought a participating item at another store they were the ones to give me the credit, not the participating grocery store.)

Thank you for taking the time to contact Upromise.

You can use any form of payment accepted by the grocery or drugstore
chain, typically: cash, check, credit card, debit card, food stamps or
the equivalent. Remember, in order to earn contributions you must have
your registered grocery or drug store frequent shopper card scanned at
checkout when you purchase Upromise eligible products at participating
grocery or drug stores. For a full list of participating drug and
grocery products, please use the following link:
https://lty.s.upromise.com/displayServlet?su=8251

You will only earn contributions when you purchase these items at a
participating store and have your registered frequent shopping card
scanned at checkout.

For a list of grocery & drug stores in your area that participate in the
Upromise Grocery program, or to register your grocery cards for savings
when purchasing eligible items, please use the following link:

If you believe that you have followed the correct procedure and still
missing contribution from your eligible grocery purchases, please fax or
mail one grocery receipt to Upromise Customer Care. The receipt must
show that the grocery card was 1.) Used at a participating grocery
store, 2.) Registered and validated in your Upromise account on date of
purchase, and 3.) Used to purchase participating products.

You can send this information to: Upromise Customer Care, Attention:
Research Department. P.O. Box 55555 Boston, Ma. 02205-5555. You may also
fax your information to 617-559-2425, you may address your fax to the

I'm not sure I understood what you were saying, but hope this is helpful nonetheless.

In order to get credit for shopping at Acme, you can use any method of payment, but you must have your Acme Savings Card/Member card number in your UPromise account. That way, when the cashier scans your Acme member card the purchases will be directed to your UPromise account. Does that make sense or help?

You do have to purchase the items at a participating grocery store in addition to using your registered card.

EX:
I shop at Food Lion, which is now a participating store.

I buy Huggies diapers.

To get credit, I have to scan my Food Lion MVP card, not just use a registered credit or debit card.

If I buy Huggies at the local Graul's store and use my registered debit card, I don't get credit, because Graul's is not a participating Upromise store.

The registering of credit/debit is for getting credit at brick and mortar stores like BB&B that don't have loyalty cards, as well as restaurants and online... but credit ONLY comes from participating items or stores, not just using your card anywhere.
