Here are some of the most common questions we get from members about how to save when they
buy or sell a home through a participating Century 21®, ERA®, or Coldwell Banker® office:

I want to take advantage of the Real Estate savings offer. I've already met with a few real estate agents. Can I still go through Upromise and earn a contribution?


In order to be eligible for the college contribution, you MUST first submit your information through our website. Then, your referral must be accepted BEFORE signing a listing agreement, buyer-agency agreement or sales contract with the real estate office. If you've already signed on with a real estate office on your own, the office is not obligated to provide you with college savings.


How is my college contribution amount calculated if I buy or sell a home?

Your college contribution will equal 11.11% of the eligible commission your participating real estate office receives for your side of the transaction, up to $3,000.*

I tried to use Countrywide through Upromise 3 years ago when I bought my prior home. I did the entire contract online with them. Then I had to go into a branch and sign the paperwork and they would not let me get the credit through Upromise.

So just a heads up, make sure you can do the entire thing with them and that you will get credit before you make your move.
