Confused about trading....... not sure where to ask

Hi everyone I have been on and off here for about 6 years. I am now trying to trade coupons. Moving up in the couponing world! I am not sure how to do it safely and legitimately. Maybe you guys can help me. LOL I have some AWESOME coupons (having triplets can be a blessing)! But I am confused how to share the wealth and get what we actually need. I have formula checks, gerber and beechnut coupons. That are like the free X amount of product, but due to allergies we can't use it. Maybe I need a nice person (who doesn't want my coupons) to guide me through. HMM please help me. Thanks guys

Follow this link. It's a sticky just above your post that has all the ins and outs of trading. You do need to become a member of the Trader In Training (TNT) group before being allowed to post in the trading forums, and that info is in the link as well.

once you get your tnt status, look at see how everyone is posting what they have for trade. i find it easy to start out with a "have" and "iso" list in one thread. that way you can say "hey i have x and i am wanting to trade for y".

remember to make your iso easy for people to follow. list out where the coupon can be printed from or where they can be found.

I usually put my formula checks up in the auction forum and they do pretty well that way. Bigger lots seem to do better. I can totally relate to the allergies. Mine could never take formula.

First you need some good feedback from other users that you have traded with..you can do RAOK to help with that. You can make you wishlist and post in in the trade thread, or you can find some of the people that sale their extras for CC or paypal to buy from to build you some postive feedback.

Postive Feedback is how we know you are hopefully safe to trade with..

Like 434Teresa said, I traded stamps for potlucks of coupons for a few trades when I was trying to pass my trader in training. You will also find some of us who will trade small amounts of coupons to new traders. Once you become a trader in training, scroll down through the posts and some people put that they have to have x amount in one trade to make it worth their while. Hey, I've been rejected a few times because I didn't have as many q's as the other person was looking for. There are lots of helpful people on here and you should PM them if you have questions or want to trade. The best thing I can think to say to a new trader is "ALWAYS PM" for trades. A lot of us don't look in the posts for questions or offers back to what we've posted, but we check our PM regularly.

Once you start your trader in training, look me back up. I'll trade for small amounts to help you get your rating up.
