    Default Help?

Hi! I'm about to do my first trade for stamps. I am the one who needs the stamps. I'm trading around 15 qs and the person I'm trading with wants to know how many stamps I want. My question is, what is a fair amount of stamps?

I usually trade for 10% value on coupons. I consider stamps the same as money.

So if the value of the coupons are $1.00/1 each times 15 which would equal $15. The total would % would be $1.50. You would then give enough stamps aprx to cover the $1.50.

this will depend on the type of coupon and what they are. toss out a number with a ? and see if that is okay. trading is bartering too so the other trader might say "not x but how about y".

I agree with 10% of the face value of the Qs you are sending, and then you'll need to round up or down to get to a specific number of stamps. Some add an additional stamp to that amount to cover postage.
