Default Value of Coke Reward Points in a Trade

When you are doing a trade and someone is going to send coke reward points, how do you calculate how many coke reward points to send for the value of the coupons in the trade?

I might base it on the value of the product - if it's a cap, maybe $1-2, a box would be more like $3-$4. (This would be equal to a coupon of the same value.)
Most of the time if they're included in a trade of mine, I just roughly calculate it. There really is no hard and fast rule, so it makes them a bit difficult.
Really as long as both parties are happy with the trade, that's what matters.

i trade stamps for coke points. My general rule is a 44c stamp for every 15 pts (so 3c/pt). I would go by what I would PAY cash for a cpn (like 10%ish), I figure it out that way. Say I'd pay 44c for whatever cpns are being offered to me, that would equal 15 coke pts. So I'd offer 15 coke pts.

I trade coke codes as bring worth 1c a point. Usually just trade coupons for coke codes though. Example 1 coupon worth $1=10 coke points
I will be unavailable on May 28th and May 29th from 3:30pm to 9:00pm CST. I only trade through pm's.

When trading for coke codes a cap is 3 points, when trading for q's, I usually trade 1 cap for $1 coupon, for a 12 pack it is 10 points, so I will trade for $3 in coupons. Hope that makes sense. It is all so confusing when you look at the different ways you can trade these things. Hope I helped!

    Edit
FAQ: When trading Coke Reward points
From Bugface post in March 2009
When trading Coke Codes, keep in mind the value of the prizes you are redeeming the codes for. 24 Points gets you a free 20oz drink. 150 points gets you a $10 magazine subscription. So do not pay more for them than what you are redeeming them for. This is another item that members vary greatly on what they ask for in trade.

Although currently a Free 20 oz drink is 30 pts and magazines run from 133-400 pts.

I base it on 12 packs, that is what we buy from Coke, always in my house, with or without a sale / coupon. 240 pts = 1 12 pack coupon, which in my area on sale is approx $2.40

Makes it easy, 1 point means 1 cent for me to buy my 12 pack
10 points = 10 cents in my pocket

If you trade coupons for approx 10% of the value, then If I were sending $9 worth of coupons, I would ask for .90.

You can go from there, hope that helps.

I think it depends how much the person really buys coke items.

I try to trade 10% of the value of my q's and count the 3 point coke codes as $0.10 and add postage if I'm the one mailing the q's.
