How Do You Choose Who to Trade With?

How do y'all choose who you trade a q with? I have what I guess is a pretty hot q for some & I got 3 trade request PM's within an hour of me adding it to my Have List! By morning, I'm sure I'll have even more... I just don't know how to choose who to trade with I don't wanna be like this come morning with an overflowing inbox.

I generally trade on a first come, first serve basis, unless I am unhappy with an offer or I get a much better offer very quickly.

So in your case, I would probably choose the best of the three (or the first one if they're equal) and call it a day.

But I'm also not a very picky trader. Based on the response time to some of my offers, I'd say there are a few traders here who try to hold out for the best they can get... But I believe those are in the minority.

Just please, PLEASE do two things when you pick an offer: (1) update your original post to say TRADED (remove it from your havelist, in this case), and (2) respond to the offers you aren't selecting with a brief "Thanks, but I traded these already."

I usually go by time first - whoever PMed me first gets my attention. However, if they're all offers for the same qs, and one offer is better for you than the others, I would choose that one. I'm not picky either.

Ditto on PMing the other traders just letting them know you've chosen a different trader. That respect goes a long way in my book.

I trade with the first person who PM'ed me-- unless the offer isn't exactly what I would like such as a different value of Q's than I wanted, etc.

And I always respond to anyone else's PM's with a thank you for responding, but the coupons are already gone/I've gotten the ones I needed.

Thanks everyone! I actually didn't get any more trade requests overnight so I'm going to go over the ones I do have & pick. I will definitely let the others know that I already traded though. I agree about the respect thing.
