Gosh... I try to leave feedback also.... But sometimes life gets in the way... We are all busy... While it is a courtesy, I know, I have missed a few here or there. So sorry that happened to you. It is their loss of a trade.
This is not really a HUTC thing but more of a question. I recently attempted to make a trade and was basically told no because I had forgotten to leave feedback from September of 2010. Is feedback REALLY that important?
I try to remember but I do have twin three year olds at home and sometimes forget. I thought we were all friends here and could forgive a small oversight like that , especailly since last I checked feedback wasnt mandatory.....but maybe I am wrong.
Is feedback that important to you guys? Do you get that mad about it that you refuse to trade with someone who has forgotten to leave it?

It wouldnt be a big deal but I really wanted those forms and I just thought it was kindof unfair to be that way over feedback.
feed back was a big deal to me when i was trying to reach 5 but since i have reached it...its ok if you dont leave it. with that being said...i would never refuse a trade for someone if they didnt leave feedback.

If I forget to leave you feedback please send me a message. I always want to leave feedback i just sometimes forget!
To me feedback is IMPORTANT just because it lets me know that my trade received the envie and I can delete all related PMs and keep my inbox neat. So PLEASE everybody leave a FB and write your forum name on your envie so I can leave a FB for you too!
At the same I would never make a note that somebody didn't leave a fb - after so many trades I have no idea who did and who didn't.
I would never refuse a trade for that reason too.
Seems awfully petty. Guess they weren't too interested in making a trade after all.
Wow, talk about holding a grudge. That's extremely petty IMO. There have been so many times when I haven't gotten feedback. And while it kinda irks me because I make it a point to leave feedback, I wouldn't refuse a trade because of it.
On the other side of the coin, I've gotten some feedback where I'm pretty sure it was left in error. I keep all PM's until I'm absolutely certain the trade has been completed- either both parties left feedback or it's been so long since the trade that the feedback for me probably just isn't coming. And one will pop up from someone I know I haven't traded with in months. Maybe it's really late or maybe it's just a mistake.![]()
I agree with vica that I like to get feedback because I am obsessed with keeping my PMs neat and organized and I keep the PM until I receive feedback. However, after a few weeks, I either PM to ask if they got it or I just go ahead and delete the PM. I would never not trade with someone over not leaving feedback. I wouldn't even know if you didn't leave feedback anyways!
BUT there is tons of feedback that I have never gotten, so in some ways it is disappointing because I'm sure my itrader number would be ALOT higher if I had gotten them all. I have folders in my inbox now to keep track of trades, and I make sure I leave feedback before I move it to the correct folder.

My thoughts too.
I think I have a touch of OCDwith FEEDBACKS. I don't consider trades done until I have at least sent a reminder to the person about FB. FB lets me know the person received my end.
I was a legal secretary for 20+ years and record keeping was very crucial. I guess that part of the job stuck with me. If someone does not respond to my reminder, however, I never become a stalker--I just delete it. I would never not trade with someone because of missing FB, I think that is just silly. I want all my bridges open here as it helps line my pockets with savings.

Seems kind of over the top. If I don't receive feedback within 2 weeks, I send a friendly reminder PM. After that PM, I drop it. Either I get it, or I don't. But I don't discriminate because someone ONCE forgot to leave feedback.
