How to Trade BTFE - Box Tops for Education

How do you trade a BTFE? If a coupon you trading has a value of $2.00, how many BTFE's is it worth? Most BTFE's are worth $.10 each. Stamp and Paypal value is usually 10% of the value of the coupon. Any help would be appreciated.

BTFE don't really follow the 10% rule. I've found their value to be variable based upon the individual trade. I've gotten 5 cents PPEF per BTFE in the past. I've also traded x amount of BTFE for x number of Q's (vs. value of Q's). I'm sorry I'm not much of a help.

I agree with gctattoo...I pay up to 5 cents per boxtop

I have done some trades where we did one coupon to one Box Top, and some where I valued them at between 5 and 10 cents each and used them like cash to trade for coupons. It all depends on the individual traders. My theory has always been, let them throw out an offer and if you don't like it, counter.
