Need feedback: Good idea to trade coupons expiring soon or even coupons I don't want?
I have acquired a lot of q's over the past year at HCW. I need ya'lls feedback. I have a mixed of non-insert and inserts (a ton!) expiring 12/31/2010 that I am planning on listing and seeing if I can move (trade).
We don't use a lot of coupons as our diet is limited and we do not have kids yet. I have particular coupons, such as printables, or insert coupons I can use listed on have list.
Is it a good idea to trade... say 10 or 20 coupons per 1 coupon on my have list? Should I ask the trader to provide additional coupons or an extra stamp if shipping goes beyond the traditional .44?
TYIA.

I was thinking people would be more willing to trade for coupons they wanted.. but that is a good idea if I can get all this junk listed. 50 coupons from list for $.50 works for me, LOL.. or trading for coupons I want!

I'll tell you what I usually do that's a great way to move insert coupons:
I'll post a thread offering any 50 Q's for $1, shipping included. Or coupons for a penny apiece plus shipping ($.44 for up to 55 Q's). Since I'm too lazy to list all my coupons, I ask those interested to send me a list of what they're ISO from a specific list of insert dates. This works best if you have multiples. And if they're well organized so you can find the coupons easily. ;)
I have access to tons of inserts so I find this works pretty well when I just want to get them out of my house and add a bit to my paypal balance. I just remind any traders of close expirations in case they don't remember or realize.
The same could be done for multiples of noninserts with the exception of asking a bit more for those. Or offering potlucks. Potlucks work for inserts too, but I ask just above shipping cost since it's not a guarantee they'll get many/any they can use. HTH!
