QUESTION What are they worth? ~ ~ Coke codes

Title says it all. When trading for these what or how do you base a value? 3 point cap is worth? 10 point is worth? etc etc

Most value them between .03 & .05 per point, but others see them as being of higher value. I guess it depends on how close you are to getting a major prize.

Yup! If you go to the sold auctions & search for coke codes, you'll see just how high they can go. It's pretty wild.

    I'm just sayin' - I wouldn't pay .03 per point. That's craziness!

I think I've traded a 10pt code from a 12pk for a $1 q. So I get a free 20oz, and someone gets $3 in qs. Probably not the best ratio, but I'm more of the thought that both traders are happy with a trade.

In my mind, I am remembering that the 3pt codes traded for 0.05 and then the 10pt codes traded for about 0.15 each. Not sure what I am basing that on though :-)

they are worth about a penny each- a hundred points will buy a coupon for a free 2 liter, which costs about a dollar.

of course, the same hundred right now will buy a year of redbook, which i could get at amazon for 5 bucks, so they might be worth a nickel a point.

it just depends. i just spent all of mine for year 5 of bones dvd, built it back up and sent for a year of cosmo for a friend to give to another friend. so now i'm
    out again.

but i still wouldn't pay more than a penny a point.

I sold my points on an auction here and let them decide what they want to pay. I sold 40 12pk points and they paid $9.00.

That averages to .02 per point.

It's just gonna vary. And I'm looking at it from the auction side. Trading is going to vary more.
