Am I the only one that feels this way?
I am starting to think that many of us coupon users dont know what a blinkie coupon is and that not everyone can use them.. A blinkie coupon is a smart source machine coupon, yes most them do say manufacturer coupon on them but not every store will take them. I have ran across some of them that dont say manfacturer coupon but I dont have a store to use them at either way.
I have it posted on my wishlist that I cant use blinkie coupons but yet I still get them. So thats why I think that some hcw members dont know what blinkies are.
I buy coupons on ebay from time to time and last week I bought a listing it did not say they were blinkie coupons it said manufacture coupons and I knew these were in the paper a few wekends back so thinking that was what I was buying I paid but when they came in the mail they were blinkie coupons........sure they say they are manufacturer coupons as I said before but not all stores take them, I have been told that those are store coupons even tho they say manfucturer coupon on them because they are from a machine placed in certin stores by three stores here where I live so I just dont even try anymore.
So please if you sell or have coupons list anywhere in anyway and they are BLINKIES say they are..dont list them as manfacturer coupons only.

I don't understand. Blinkies, marked manufacturer coupons are just like all manufacturer coupons in that the stores will be reimbursed the face value plus a handling fee, same fine print on those as inserts/IP's
And SS puts those in the stores to help spread out their coupon volume, they are not store specific, no wording on them to that effect.
What stores won't take them where you shop? I'm curious. I've never ever heard of this!![]()
Coupons are found money - who walks by money on the ground??
Saving money ~ it's a way of life, not an attitude
Blinkies are manufacturer coupons. I used to work for the company that distributes them. They are not store coupons as we get bundles of them to distribute to various different stores. A store coupon would be good at only one store - ie KMart or Hannaford. Blinkies are good at any store that accepts them.
I have never been in a store that does not take a Blinkie. If someone sells them as a manufacturer's coupon, they are correct. If you cannot use them, you should ask if they're blinkies.
For example, internet printed coupons are manufacturer's coupons even though not all stores take them. That doesn't make them NOT manufacturer's coupons. It just means some stores won't take them.
Yes as I said I know they are manufacturere coupons jsut as IP's are but as with IP"S not all stores will take them.....MY Walgreens,Food gaint, and Walmart will not take the blinkie coupons. I am from a small town so other than those and other dollar stores I dont have much choice on where to shop.
And I do ask if coupons are blinkies most of the time, but I feel that any seller needs to describe the coupons fully, espiecally on ebay for all to often those item are bought by last minute bidders that are counting on the description to be fully correct, plus there are pitcures that lead you to think they are regular manufacturer coupons not blinkies. BY saying that blinkies are just manufacturer coupons the coupons are not describe 100% correct, they need to say blinkie manufacturer coupons, not just for me but for others because all to often blinkie coupons can not be doubled.
If you descriped IP's just as manufacturer coupons that would not be correct discription either now would it, so why not say blinkie coupons instead of just manufacturer coupon.

They do...technically.
Whether the random cashier/manager understands that
I had one picked at by a cashier last week...he called the manager over...who looked at it and said...that is not a store coupon it's a manu it's fine. I don't blame him...I'm sure he gets in loads of trouble when he can't tell the difference.
