Secret Pals and Gift Exchanges
Secret Pals is a program for the exchange of themed gift/coupon boxes.

Please see post #2 above for rules that apply to all trading forums.



To participate in a secret pal exchange you must:

• Be a member for 30 days
• Have an Itrader rating of 5 or more
• Have 100% Itrader rating
• Meet any additional requirements set up by the secret pal swap host

To host a secret pal exchange you must:

• Be a member for 6 months
• Have an Itrader Rating of 20 or more
• Have 100% Itrader Rating
• Participated in at least 2 swaps
• Agree to make sure all packages are sent and received and contact the Secret Pal Moderators in case of an issue

The rules for the Secret Pal forum are not all inclusive. Each swap may have additional guidelines set up by the host of the exchange.


All gifts that are sent must be in new condition, unless otherwise stated in the guidelines for the swap you wish to participate in.


Secret Pals and Gift Exchanges are a higher outlay of money for each person that joins. Please do not sign up if you cannot afford to mail your package. If an emergency situation comes up where you are not able to send your package it is YOUR responsibility to notify your host of any delays. You are asked to respond to all PM or email messages from your host/SP Mod within 48 hours. Failure to do so may cause you to be blocked from the Secret Pal forum.


You are allowed to join three Secret Pal exchanges at a time. If you are participating in three already, your packages must be confirmed as received for you to join another. The Moderators reserve the right to refuse your participation at any time.

Mailing instructions:

All swaps are different. Some will require you use delivery confirmation or a certain mail class. The sender is to post in the thread when they mail their package. Additionally, the sender is to fill out the delivery confirmation form (if required in the swap) by the designated mail date. Failure to do these things may cause you to be blocked from trading.

If you do not mail your package and the mods (or host) send on your behalf, you are responsible to reimburse cost of the package and shipping to that mod. If a more expensive mail class is used to make a deadline, you are expected to reimburse that cost.





If within 7 days of mail date no delivery confirmation form has been filled out And/or you have not posted in the thread stating you mailed the following may take place:

1. Bad Trade Report Will be Filed
2. Ban from Secret Pal Exchanges
3. Loss of trading priveleges

Random Acts of Kindness (RAOK) Giveaways
This forum is for giving away items and asking for nothing in return.

Please see post #2 above for rules that apply to all trading forums.

RAOKs are Random Acts of Kindness on the part of the sender. They should be without any sort of obligation to the recipient, including postage.

Members can not request Random Acts Of Kindness in this forum. This is a forum for members to make offers only.

Vote for me based raok's where you want to offer a RAOK to members who vote for some type of contest you may be entered in, do have to have mod approval prior to posting. Because this is asking for something in return, please understand if we ask you to post it elsewhere.

If you have coupons or other items to give away and would like to be reimbursed for postage, please post these in the Current or Expired Coupons forum with an appropriate title. EX: 200+ Coupon potluck for postage only!



You can give away your RAOKs in a number of ways-- it's up to you.

• You can just PM a person for their mailing information.
• You may just say "First PM gets it."
• You may also have some sort of contest or guessing game, with the correct answer receiving the RAOK.
• Another possibility is a drawing where people post in the thread, their names are tossed in a hat, and the one selected is the winner of the RAOK.

If you are the recipient of a RAOK, it is considered courteous to leave feedback for the sender. Identify it as a trade, and say something like "Thanks for the RAOK!" in the comments.

RAOKs are fun to receive! If you get one, consider paying it forward to someone else so that they have the fun of a little something in the mail.

All posts in the Random Acts of Kindness (RAOK) Giveaways Forum will be purged from the system by a Super moderator, the head moderator of the trading forums or the forum moderator after the thread has been inactive for two months.

Please do not leave Itrader feedback on here for trades not made here. This goes for positive and negative.

If you wish to show support to a new trader here whom you have traded with on another site, please feel free to post a visitor message on their profile page that welcomes them here and note that you have traded with this person elsewhere.

I am sure some are saying, whats the harm

Our trade rules are different from those on other sites.

When you leave feedback for someone here, members assume and rightly so, that they made a good trade HERE based on our rules & that it was recent.
This trader could have made bad or poor trades on the other site that forced them to "jump" over here.

If they are great, let their trades here speak for themselves.

The same goes for negative FB, please let Suesaving & Motherofmolly, our bad trade mods, and/or tacatonc & I know if a member here has bad trades elsewhere and we will handle it.

While on the subject

Our Itrader rating system is only good if we use it. I often hear, I didnt get my end but figured since I have had so many good trades here that one loss was no big deal so I decided to not leave feedback. Or the trade was a nightmare, but since I got my end I left positive or skipped feedback.
That hurts all of us.

If you did nothing wrong on your end of the trade, then poor feedback cannot be left for you. If you are not sure, just ask. All of the gals that moderate the trade forums are always willing to help you!

Effective today 2/12/11 inserts for the upcoming Sunday can be traded starting on the Wednesday before.

More members are able to get these in a legitimate way earlier in the week and we want to accommodate that.

For example next Sunday is 2/20. Most people get their inserts that day or later. However, if you get them early, your inserts can be traded starting Wednesday 2/16 starting at 12am.

Based on several questions about Rite Aid survey coupons, post #2 was updated to reflect that Rite Aid survey coupons can be traded, but only after the survey has been completed.

also added in a new line that was formerly covered by "in hand". We wanted to explain one area better.
Items that are ordered with points from places like my coke rewards, recyclebank, pampers etc have to be in your hand and then traded. You are not able to trade a promise to order items and have them shipped to the other trader.
