    Default Stamps vs Coupons

If someone prefers stamps over coupons as their WL, or the trader doesn't have much on someone's WL....what is the exchange rate from coupons/stamps? Thanks!

I dont actually know the answer to this question, i would Say for now just do your best. I had someone that I could only match up one of the coupons on thier wl. So I sent some extra coupons. Not exactly sure what your situation is, so just do YOUR best..

My opinion is it would kind of depend on what kind of "trade" you are doing.
For example, if you are in need of something that someone has on their wishlist and either they dont have a lot on their wishlist or u dont have a lot...then if it is something you really need - you could offer them stamps.

In general, I would say the harder the coupon is to find the more you would pay in stamps. If it was something I really needed or was a HOT coupon then I might pay like 20% of the face value of the coupon. Otherwise maybe 5-10% value. This is of course not set in stone and someone else may have a totally different opinion.

If you are thinking of this situation for a train, I would hesitate to send stamps as part of your coupon requirement....of course you can always send some as extras. But train participants know that their envies may be potlucks (and especially for the TNT trains....fill the envie with what you can from the persons wishlist and then potluck the rest).

So I know you posted this question like a month ago (LOL) but I just did a trade for 40 coupons for 4 stamps - ie, she wanted one stamp per 10 Qs. Thought that was pretty fair!

I generally regard stamps the same as I do PPEF which means (for me) trading for approx. 10% of the coupon value.

Yup! For every stamp I send, I would expect about $4.40 in coupon value in return.

I just did a trade with someone and didn't have anything that was on their WL, so I asked if I could do 10% of the value of the coupons. That worked for us. I thought it was fair.
