Attention: USPS Rate Changes Going Into Effect 1/2/11-Priority and Express Rates

I know alot of us send packages on here, so just want to keep you informed.

USPS News Release: U.S. Postal Service Announces Shipping Prices for 2011

Looks like they've added a bunch of new Priority products too which might be good news.

The rate change is 3.5% on Priority-you can see the new price list here. so for a pkg under 1 lb that used to cost $4.90 it is now going to cost $5.10 with flat rate envelope rates staying unchanged.

And Express rates seem to have gone down, by about the same. With a pkg up to .5 lb costing $13.25 after 1/2 that used to cost $13.65

The APO/FPO Flat rate boxes that I use to mail coupons overseas will be going from $12.50 to $12.95.

Looks like I better get my butt in gear and get the 5 boxes I have ready to mail out to the post office by Friday!!!

THANKS for the heads-up! Will be going to do the same thing now! Canada has free shipping for their Troops from 12-15-10 through 01-15-11...if I lived closer, I would have taken a u-haul across the border.
