Trader Joes is giving back to strike out hunger in communities with this new program




Fighting hunger is central to what we do. We are a grocery store. And, as you know, we like to do everything we can (like our products and stores) with a unique twist of adventure and spirit. That’s why we’ve worked out a deal with some of our neighborhood athletic teams. We’ve challenged them to join us in the fight against hunger by performing at peak levels. It’s a win-win for everyone! Plus, it’s fun.

Trader Joe's Strikes Out Hunger - Every time the Angels strike out one of their competitors, Trader Joe's will make a donation of $20 to Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.

Trader Joe's Home Runs That Help - Every time the Dodgers hit a home run during a home game, Trader Joe's will make a donation of $250 to One on One Outreach, a local organization dedicated to relieving hunger in Los Angeles.

Trader Joe's Goes The Distance - Every time the Mariners hit a home run during a home game, Trader Joe's will make a donation of $250 to the Ballard Food Bank.

Now to figure out how likely it is that the Dodgers will make a home run during a home game....
