Hi, I am looking for some ideas for trains. As most of you probably know I love doing games and contests. I'm unfortunately not the most creative person so I'm looking for some ideas of stuff I can incorporate in my trains that involve games or contests. Even if it isn't a game or contest idea for a train, I'm open to any train ideas. I will pick one person at random that posts an idea to send a 25 coupon potluck to. This RAOK will end Monday, Jan. 30th at 8am Central Time. Thanks and let the ideas begin!!!

Ok ok... maybe a selfish Idea...lol

How about a certain word train that everyone needs to send something that is a direct runoff of a certain word. Say the word is Dog- Then person needs to send Dog coupon or dog sticker or a dog free ... or another idea say Beauty... and send something related to beauty + a 25 coupon potluck ect.

Or

To make you feel loved train...
where every envie must be the usually train but include a note or present or even a funny picture to make the other person smile

Or Somewhere over the rainbow where must add something from every color of the rainbow plus a potluck ( if so whoever gets me Money is green ...hint hint lol)


I will keep thinking of other ideas.Oh and whoever reads above I was only joking please noone take me serious.

What about an I LOVE _ _ _ _ train everyone who rides chooses one thing that they love (tea, coffee, their kids, etc.) then in addition to coupons, the sender has to include at least 3 things related to that word-3 tea bags, 3 kids stickers, etc.

A lot like Shirley's idea but everyone picks their own word, that way people won't decide not to ride a train because they don't like the theme & hopefully everyone gets something they can use/enjoy.

I'm sure some of these have been done before, but always fun to do again.

Favorite Disney movie: Put the title of your favorite movie on the envie, this would be a round robin train.

Booklover's train: Send 25 coupons plus a bookmark to one other person on the train. (Quick and easy train.) Or a round robin, and put the title of your favorite book on the envie.

Across the USA: I've seen this once. The train starts on one coast, goes all the way across the country and back.

Favorite Easter candy: Chocolate Bunnies, Jelly Beans, Peeps, etc. The candy goes on the envie. It could be a race to see who finishes first, and the prize would be a potluck of qs from each person.


Leap Year Train: Mail out day on Feb. 29th, a one time mail-out. Make it interesting, and have only 29 people riding. Send 28 coupons, plus a FREE, so 29 coupons total.

How about a dollar store find train? Everyone mails 25 coupons and one item they found at a dollar store. When the envies are received people post what they received and at the end of the train everyone votes on the best dollar store find & winner gets a potluck envie of q's from everyone. . . or people mail anonymously to 3 or 4 others & you rank your favorite to least favorite "find" & person with highest rank gets a potluck envie

Or a magnet train where everyone mails q's and a magnet

Or a state train where everyone mails q's and something that relates to the state they live in (a scenic postcard or magnet, regional coffee or tea)
