Start stockpiling diapers now! You would be surprised how quickly you go through them. Now you can afford to wait for the best deals you can find. When the baby is here you won't have that luxury and will likely end up paying a fortune. I personally suggest buying only Huggies or Pampers but others may disagree. I don't suggest stockpiling formula because you never know if your little one will have to switch to something else and you will end up with a stockpile of formula you can't use. But it may be helpful to start a baby fund to use for formula or other things the baby will need in the future. You can also find some great deals on desitin, baby wash, and baby lotion sometimes to add to your stockpile. Good luck!! :)

I agree with the previous poster about stockpiling. I was lucky and my baby girl (now 18 months) tolerates all diapers so any brand that i can get at .10c a diaper or less is the way we roll. Which has been mostly huggies.

Another money saving tip, cut up old/stained shirts etc. and turn them into face wipers. These work great during meal time so you don't have to use napkins etc. Plus you can use them for boogies and just throw them out. We have used stained onesies that she no longer fits, extra older receiving blankets, one of my favorite shirts that got a red wine stain down the front. Anyway, you get the point. They make for perfect mini wipeys.

Good luck not getting pregnant. :) I agree better not to try. :) Less stress.

When stockpiling diapers, go easy on stockpiling the newborn size because most often, a lot of newborn don't fit them but already on size 1. For those who fit the NB size, most hospitals will give you enough of them to use so there's no need to buy a lot of those sizes. It is best to stock up on size 3 or 4 which, will more likely be used sooner or later as baby grows into it.
