I'm a mixed bag. I usually love the hustle & bustle of Christmas, but this year, I'm so swamped that I can't even enjoy it. I'm traveling for business Sunday - Wednesday of this week so I'm missing all the parties & activities at my kids schools. It also doesn't help that I won't find out until 12/23 if my job will continue after March, so that's weighing on my mind & my husband's hours have been cut to about 15-20 a week with no work the week of Christmas & New Years.
My to do list just keeps growing & I seriously don't get anything marked off. I'm so ready for 12/27 when it's over & I can just chill at the house with my kiddos. I'm taking the week between Christmas & New Year's off & will not be answering my blackberry or work email. I can't wait!!!!

I AM excited!
Christmas is my favorite time of year. Shopping, driving around looking at Christmas lights, parties & get-togethers, giving & receiving of gifts, watching new movies at the movie theater... it's all so special to me. Even though all of my relatives are 2000 miles away in Ohio ( XUfan), at least my immediate family are nearby.

SUPER excited! My kids can't wait to get into their gifts (and I don't want to wrap them anymore) they have been wrapped since a week before Thanksgiving! It's funny... my 2 1/2 year old isn't nearly as interested as my 1 year old. Calvin (1) actually sat by the tree yesterday and unwrapped a gift while I was making lunch... I about died when I saw him standing on the box waving the wrapping paper up and down in the air. He knew he was in trouble, his priceless look said it all!
