I need some ideas for auctions!

I need some ideas for next week's auctions. I have fun posting auctions, and I'm looking for new ideas.

Auctions I've had before:

Potluck of goodies: BTFEs, CLFEs, Cars 2 codes.

Baby Shower Auction: all baby/toddler/kid coupons (I don't have much of these at the moment.)

A SWEET auction: all candy and gum. (Had one last week, no bids. Guess it was too close to Halloween.)

All drinks auction

Winetags auction (don't have any at the moment, but who knows, I might find something good out there.)

I'd like to have a giftcard auction, but I don't know what would be a popular enough giftcard to put up. Also, if I put up a giftcard auction, should it just be giftcards only, or add other stuff to it? (non-inserts, rebates, other goodies?)

So post your auction ideas, list some of your favorite stores, offer any other input, and I'll see what kind of fun auction I can put together in the next week or two.

I'll pick a random winner on Sunday, 8pm CST.

I LOVE potluck auctions. . .If you do a gift card auction, I'd like to see national stores/restaurants (for example we have no chick-fil-a here)

What about a Staples gift card/stamps/mailing supplies/paper q's?

Toys r Us gift card/game rebates & q's/stickers?

WalMart Gift Card/high value q's (to give us overages!)?

Thanksgiving dinner-noninsert stove top, rolls, vegs, cranberries w/turkey rebate good in all states?

Coffee for a week? Small value Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, McDonalds gift cards, coffee, creamer & sugar q's?

Those are just what came to mind right now-bet you get some great ideas! Can't wait for the auctions!

you could do a black friday auction with all the toy coupons coming out?

Or I know a lot of people are putting together operation christmas child showboxes - you could do an auction of things that can go in those?

Or a cold and flu survival auction - meds + tissues, teabags OJ and a people magazine

What about a "date night" auction. A gift certificate to somewhere like Applebees or Ruby Tuesday plus maybe some movie tickets and a free starbucks coffee or something.

I love sticker auctions, just stickers.

For the gift card auction go with Target, Walmart, Dollar General, Barnes & Noble,Kroger, Kmart, maybe Dollar Tree, Subway or something like that.


The Cold Survival auction sounds good.

Or you can do a coke codes or Disney movie rewards codes auction, just a thought.

Do gift card auction and include coupons that can be used at the place the gift card is for. Like if you have a Walmart card you could include the coupons that make stuff free there, like Schick. If you have a fast food card you could include some coupons for that place.

With the holidays approaching (too fast!!), how about some of these:

"Baking for the Holidays"...include flour, sugar, mixes, decorating items, etc.

"Stocking Stuffers"...include coupons for candy bars, lip glosses, little toys, fast food gift cards, free coke coupons, etc.

"Cleaning up for company" High value cleaning products.

"Santa's Helper"...coupons for toys, games, $/$ from Kohl's, JCP, Fashion Bug, etc.

I also like the sticker auctions!!
