St. Jude Children's Hospital. I'm all about kids and I love that they help and will do it without payment if the child's family can't afford it. Their commerical/informercials aways get to me and I'm in tears. Makes me truly appreciate my healthly family.

Also-Alzheimers Assoc.-THe nursing home I worked at before staying home with DS specialized in Alzheimers care-so the majority of our residents had the disease. Even though I was an HR Director, I worked hands on with the residents and families going through this disease.


I just read that this is a Target coupon, and sadly there is no Target near me, so please take me out of the running. Thanks.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - CF is an orphan illness. In other words, the number of children/ adults that have it do not get the drug companies' research. One of my best friend's granddaughter has CF and in the last 11 years our little town of Greenfield, IN has raised over $500,000 during our annual Great Strides walks. Being on the committee, I have befriended so many kids and families that are struggling with the disease. The CFF has made great strides toward finding treatments and a cure.

I love anything that deals with helping pets like the ASPCA. I have a soft spot for animals. We always take care of animals anyway we can, like donating food to the animal shelter. I have a bag of food here that I'm taking to the shelter this weekend.

The Aids Foundation...It is near and dear to my heart. My Sister was diagnosed with this disease in 2003 After she had a blood transfusion on a vacation to mexico. I also volunteer and donate to local senior centers 4 days a week ..

American Cancer Society. I lost my mother at age 56, brother 52, and father from it. It is near and dear to my heart. I watched them die at way to early in life

Samaritan's Purse - They teach people to fish. Too many charities will hand out bottles of water. Samaritan's Purse, hands a neighborhood or village a water purifyer.

Locally: City Union Mission - They feed & house hundreds of homeless people here everyday while also teaching that Jesus Christ is the answer to all of our problems.

Definately Make A Wish Foundation!!! What better way to donate your money....to help a poor baby do something in their life that makes them happy that they might not ever get to experience!! Its awesome to see a child experience something that they have always wanted to do...They just light up and warm your heart!!

The Special Oympics. A great way to show all people that no one is dis-abled, just differently abled. I donoate money and time because my brother was involved when he was younger and my children have been and are involved with Special Olympics. As a matter of fact, that is what my family was doing today. My dd bowled in regionals (and got a high score of 79! Yea!) and her and I will be bowling as a team tomorrow.
