Trading Frees here at HCW

Hi Everyone,

I would like to take this moment to speak on trading for frees. Traders please please please be very certain of the origin of your free coupons before trading them here. Many purchased on ebay are not legit and we prefer that they are not traded here. When you trade for frees, it is good practice to ask of there origin.

Many traders contact companies and are able to obtain frees and that is generally how they come to be traded here. However, if you happen to come across someone with several of the same free coupon, it should send up a red flag, so please please ask of the origin before trading.

there's free Starbucks 4 pk coupons sold on ebay that says Complimentary with exp date 9/30/11 and there's "new" ones circulating with expiration date 11/2012! Free coupons with long expiration dates EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT IPs should be scrutinized carefully and if possible, we should ask the manufacturer directly to verify their authenticity before we even start trading or selling them.

Since there are templates circulating teaching how to make your own coupons, we should all exerise vigilance that we don't help spread fake coupons since it will destroy us all, in due time.

why would people make fake coupons? I will be sure to keep a lookout for these kinds of coupons. thanks for the info!
