"Wish Come True Train"

Newbies with a itrader of at least 5 with plenty of QUALITY coupons to share are welcome! please read all requirements. I know the list is long, but its to help ensure you know what is expected so all passengers have a great ride!!

Please make sure to read ALL info and requirements before joining.

You can only ride up to 5 trains at a time at HCW. If you are already on 5, you can catch the next one!

After reading this WHOLE thread, post below to ride and then PM me with your full name and addy!!


How it works:

This is going to be a simple style train with match-ups and a contest rolled into one! I am taking 10 other people with me.

There will be 2 mailings with this train.

On the first mail out you will mail out 1 envie to a different rider and 1 rider will mail to you. This is where the contest happens! The contest is to match as many coupons to the other rider's wishlist as you can. When the person receiving your envie posts that they've got it, they will also post the number of EXACT MATCH coupons to their wishlist that was in their envie.

At the end of the first mailing the person who sent the highest number of EXACT MATCH wishlist coupons wins! The winner will then receive another envie from everyone else riding in the train (this is the second mailing). So every one but the winner will mail out 2 envies total and the winner will receive 11 envies total!


In each envie there will be a minimum of 25 coupons. So you will have to mail up to 50 coupons and you will receive at least 25 coupons. (but up to 275!!)

Mail outs will start Sept. 30

Early mail's out will be fine as soon as the match ups are done. Please remember to post as you mail out.

Also, please be mindful of the 2 week rule for coupon mail-outs. If you send on Sept. 30 no coupons of the 25 can expires before Oct. 14, it is ok to send short dated coupons if they are EXTRAS and you've already met the minimum requirements.

To Join:
You must be able to mail 2 envies with at least 25 q's in each one.

You must post when you mail and when you receive. (If you have not posted on previous train I reserve the right to deny a ticket for this ride!!)
Please leave feedback for your match ups!!

You need a wish list posted to ride. If your list is very short and specific, other train riders will have a harder time matching your list. If there's something you don't need multi's of, note it.

This train is potluck which means you may not get 25 coupons from your WL in each envie. Although if you win the wishlist contest you get 10 more envies mailed to you. (HUGE incentive to match as many as you can!)

No baby, no pet, no meds, no oddball products that very few members use like depends unless you have an exact wl match. If someone says they can use cat food frees, do not include regular cat food, unless it is an extra.
Examples of junk q's if you are unsure......Depends, Resturant q's, Poise, Diapers, if q's like these are not on the wish list it would be considered junk. So please send what you would want to receive..do unto others

Limit of 1 of each coupon unless it is an exact match to a wish list. If you have and exact wish list match, then duplicates are encouraged!!! again, more than 1 of something is OK if its "extra"

print ables are great to send if the member can use them.

store specific coupons are only OK if they are on the WL.

BTFE's Coke Codes, Pepsi Codes are all great to include if they are wish list items.

Rebates and TMF forms are GREAT to include. Watch state restrictions.

If for any reason, any of your envies are not received, you will be asked to re mail at the 2 week point. joining this train is your agreement to this rule.
Also an envie not posted as received at the 2 week point will be marked as received.

QUESTION: Do duplicates count toward the wishlist count? Or each original exact match to WL q count only?

I had a question on if duplicates count and yes they do! As long as your recipient wants it, it matches a listing on their wishlist and they would be happy to get it - IT COUNTS! Personally, I would count any actuals or misc. things at the bottom of my list as well. Now, the count is going to be decided by the recipient on what they feel is a match or not. But please everyone - be honest and give all envies their due consideration, don't flub the numbers so yours might have a better chance at winning.


You all can feel free to send as many coupons as you like it can be more than 25 as well (just watch postage), the envie of course still needs to meet the minimum requirements. Let's get some competition in here and I hope everybody gets envies jampacked with things they love!
