I am hosting an open house in October with a bunch of other ladies who have home based businesses. The goal is to have access to each others customers and get the word out about our products for the holidays.

I am looking for cute little blurbs and holiday set ideas. For inspiration, you can view all products at Mary Kay Inc.: Makeup, skin care, beauty tips, virtual makeover.

I am going to be giving away a few Mary Kay prizes here based on ideas submitted. You can continue to submit ideas until the end of September. I will get together with my two roommates and we will decide what ideas I am going to use in an attempt to gain new customers and take advantage of the holiday buying season.

There will be five winners:
1. Nail polish - choice of Gold Leaf, Lavish Sable or Plush Plum


2. Hand Cream - choice of Vanilla Berry or Vanilla Mint


3. Lip Balm - choice of Vanilla Berry, Vanilla Mint or Vanilla


4. Mineral Eye Color - your choice of any shade

5. Mascara - your choice of Ultimate or Lash Love

Coffee & Cream - Mug, coffee or hot chocolate, lotion - Looking for an alternative to this. I hear teachers don't want more coffee mugs. Looking for something aimed at teachers, secretaries, assistants, etc

Men line & Skin care for teens - need a little blurb or poem to use with gift set

Hostess gift - Hand cream and Mint Bliss Energizing lotion for feet and legs - need a little blurb about thanking hostess for her hard work?

12 Days of Christmas - Husband/boyfriend gives one gift each day of Christmas - need poem

Lip set & eye set - something catchy for lip products and eye products

I am not very poetic but I came up with a 12 days for you. Maybe someone can tweak it a little and products can always be swapped out to your choosing. I aimed at a story of a husband pampering his wife and aiding her at feeling beautiful.

To have luscious lips the best product to have is....and maybe tell how to apply it and how it works.
To have exotic eyes you should use...show how to apply it and get different results with it. As a girl who doesn't wear much make up because I don't know how to apply it perfectly, this would really help me. I want to know I can look pretty and know how to do it right. I would love to look better. I know this isn't really poetic but I thought I would share how I feel about make up and my lack of knowledge (since no one thought me).
