This ends tomorrow!
For the Men’s gift set you could get a small tool chest and place inside the face Bar, shave foam, cooling after-shave gel, moisturizer sunscreen, and body spray(or whatever men’s products you think he would like). On the outside you could put (Insert Man’s name)’s Tools. (ex: Nathan’s Tools)
You could also put those items in a rugged looking bag and call it a survival kit. You could even attach a canteen or a compass he could use as well. This would be especially good for a teenage boy I think.
For the hostess gift you could put the Mint Bliss Energizing lotion for feet and legs and the hand cream in a cute little basket or bucket filled with mint themed items she can enjoy while she pampers herself. You could include some mint gum, York peppermint patties, andes mints, meltaway mints, and anything else mint scented or themed. On the outside you could put this saying….
A gift “mint” for pampering the wonderful hostess.
This ends tomorrow!
"Coffee & Cream - Mug, coffee or hot chocolate, lotion - Looking for an alternative to this. I hear teachers don't want more coffee mugs. Looking for something aimed at teachers, secretaries, assistants, etc"
A great alternative to a mug for these hot beverage drinkin’/coffee lovers on your gift list – would be a Reusable Coffee Sleeve!! They’re inexpensive to make, fun to use & are eco-friendly!! All the cool kids are using ‘em!!
If you have a sewing machine & can sew a straight line – they’re a snap to make!! I’m no Betsy Ross but I popped out 80 of these babies in 2 days for an art show at a coffee house & they were a HUGE hit!!
Pick some snazzy patterned fabrics – both girly & manly – get some coordinating felt for the backs, some Wonder Under/interfacing (this is iron-on cloth that will magically make your pretty patterned fabric stiffer) and use a cardboard coffee sleeve from your Starbucks/7-11/Wawa as your pattern!!!
Cut your fabric & felt a wee bit bigger than the unfurled cardboard sleeve – sew around the edges of your stiffened patterned fabric - pretty side in - to the felt – leaving about an inch & a half opening so you can turn it right side out. Hand sew that lil opening shut. Iron it flat. Then sew a zig-zag stitch around the edges of the sleeve & connect the 2 ends (just like on the cardboard sleeve) And VOILA – Reusable Coffee Sleeve!!
There are tutorials on how to make these on the interweb & there are even ones that you can crochet or knit if you have those kinds of mad skills – which I do not because I only have 2 hands!!
You could place your MK product, a little coffee sample or hot chocolate pack, and a biscotti (oooh I love biscotti) in a baggie tied with a bow & slip the coffee sleeve around the baggie for a pretty presentation.
Have a FANTASTIC Open House!!
for the chance!!
Okay, I sat down with the roomies and these are my winners! I am sending you all a PM now.
Thank you to everyone who contributed ideas. My open house is this Sunday and I hope it is successful!!
