    Better than Almost Anything cake

Bake a german chocolate cake using directions on box (I usually use a 13x9 pan)

Once baked, use the handle of a wooden spoon and make indentions about 1 inch apart in the top of the cake.

Pour a small can of sweetened condensed milk over the cake, focusing on the indentations you made.

Follow with chocolate syrup, then with caramel sauce (Your favorite ice cream toppings work perfect!)

Use a small tub of cool whip and smooth evenly over cake. Top with heath bar pieces. Chill and serve! Wonderful with a nice, tall glass of milk

When I want something that tastes awesome but it has been a long day and I don't want to spend a lot of time slaving to make it, I bake up an

    UGLY CAKE

Turn oven on to heat to 400 degrees.
Throw a stick of butter in a sheet cake pan and put it in the oven.
Get out a yellow cake mix, a cup of pecan or walnut pieces if you like nuts, stick an 8 oz cream cheese in a warm spot to get soft, pull out a box of powdered sugar, and three eggs.
By this time, your butter in the oven is melted enough.
Pull the pan out and it should only just be warm, not hot.
Your stick of butter won't all be melted.
Sprinkle the nuts and yellow cake mix over top of your melted butter.
Make a bit of a well in the center and crack your eggs into it.
Stir things around just a little, but don't worry about getting everything mixed.
Three or four stirs is enough.
Whip cream cheese and half your box of powdered sugar together to make a sort of glaze.
Place in a zippy bag, cut off a corner, and zig-zag the glaze over top of your cake.
Throw it in the oven and go put your feet up for 30 minutes, when your cake will be ready to remove from the oven.

This cake will fall after you take it out of the oven!

No one will care after they taste it.

This is one of my favorite popcicle recipes I found in a Parent's Magazine. These are so tastey and good for you too!!

In a pan, simmer For 10 minutes.:
    1.5 cups blueberries
    1 cup water
    1/2 cup OJ
    3 Tbsp of sugar

Let it cool for 20 minutes.

Throw it all in a blender or food processor, and process until smooth.

Stir in 1 cup of yogurt

Pour into popsicle molds. This recipe makes 8 pops, approx. 3 oz.
Warning.....These are a little messy for the little ones.

    Enjoy!!! -Shelly

This is a recipe for the best blueberry muffins I've ever had. They only take half an hour to make.

    Ingredients
    1½ cups all-purpose flour
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    ¼ cup Sugar
4 tablespoons (½ stick) sweet butter
    1 egg – beaten
¾ cup plus 2 tablespoon milk
    1 cup Blueberries

    Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Line a muffin pan with 10 paper muffin cups. Fill empty cups halfway with water.
Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl. Stir in the sugar. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, egg and milk. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and whisk until just blended (mixture should be slightly lumpy).
Add the blueberries to the bowl and stir them in just enough to combine.
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups. Bake the muffins until golden, 18-24 minutes.

I have one! I'm really bad about not following a recipe and making up my own. I had looked at different recipes and came up with this myself. If there are others out there like it, I'm unaware.

Amy's Special Cake with Cream Cheese Icing

    Ingredients:
1 boxed yellow cake mix (I think Duncan Hines works best)
all additional ingredients called for on cake mix box

    1 can sweetened condensed milk

    Icing:
1 - 8 oz bar cream cheese, softened
1 stick butter or margarine, softened
4 cups confectioners sugar (powdered sugar)
    1 teaspoon vanilla flavor
    1/2 teaspoon butter flavor
    1/4 teaspoon almond flavor
1/2 cups chopped pecans, toasted lightly and cooled

Make cake as directed on box using a 9x13 pan. While cake is baking, I usually make the icing. (If you make icing ahead, take it out of the refrigerator before you're ready to put it on the cake so it can soften.)

Beat cream cheese and butter until softened and blended well. Add flavorings and mix to blend. Add powdered sugar a little at a time until all is mixed well. Stir pecans into finished icing. Cover and refrigerate until cake is cooled.

After cake has cooled, poke holes randomly in cake using the handle of a wooden spoon. Pour sweetened condensed milk over cake using random motion so that it gets in all the holes and has some on all the cake. Spread icing on cake. Store in refrigerator.

Tip: Easily toast pecans by putting them on a plate in the microwave. Cook on high power for 30 seconds, stir. Continue cooking and stirring until they are lightly toasted.

Chill in frige for a couple hours till firm. Top with cool whip or whipped cream. A refreshing dessert easy to make
