I have scads of coupons that are going to expire on 7/31, and I hate to waste them. I am willing to mail them to someone who can tell me exactly what they are going to do to help an animal or child charity organization. Honesty is expected. Let's trade an ROAK from me for an ROAK from you!

Some of the coupons are multiples so if I get a few responses. I may split this up amongst more than one person.

Well, on Facebook I help spread the word about pets that are scheduled to be put down -- an animal lover friend of mine on FB asked her friends to help her spread the word by reposting her posts to our wall. Then someone we might know in that shelter's geographical area might go in to adopt that animal. We pass the animal's picture around by posting it. I know I have over 400 friends on there -- and many of them are friends only through the games to play. They aren't IRL friends, so they may live in an area I post about. My friend said several animals have been saved this way, so I am happy to help in my small way.

I donated Christmas presents to a child through a program at my previous job that posted all the wishlist items from the kids (sometimes with clothes sizing help from parents/guardians) on notes posted on a public corkboard, and everyone would grab one. My new job didn't have a program like that, but they do do community outreach, and I suggested this charity, which I had really felt good about, so they also joined one through the Boys and Girls Club called Frosty's Friends. I loved doing it again and plan to continue it!

I've considered fostering pets for the local shelter, but I have a 2-cat limit on my lease, and I'm seriously afraid I wouldn't want to give any of them up!!
