I would spend my points on something you need that you couldn't normally get with money. Like say you never have in your budget money to go out once in a while to eat then i would say get a gift card for a restaurant, so you could treat yourself to something nice. Maybe you just don't have in your budget money for new clothes that you want, then I would spend them on a clothes giftcard and if all else fails I would always get a giftcard for a store that you shop at alot because I for one can never have enough extra money for groceries lol. Hope that helps you and thanks for the chance at the RAOK. By the way I do mypoints but just started so I can't redeem for anything yet but that's what I would do.
I will be unavailable on May 28th and May 29th from 3:30pm to 9:00pm CST. I only trade through pm's.

I try not to redeem for anything like that for anything other than "fun" items. I always enjoy a gift card to go out to eat, go to the spa, buy clothes, etc. I always feel guilty when I buy these otherwise, but when it's not coming out of my pocket, I feel a little better :0)

The last few times I redeemed my points I got the amazon.com gift cards. I typically save the gift cards and treat myself to something I could not have bought otherwise.

I always get gift cards with MyPoints strictly for birthdays and Christmas for family, friends and hubby's co-workers. Most of the time I get restaurant gift cards and a few times I've gotten Home Depot for the guys.
With Swagbucks I treat myself to the $10 Starbucks gift cards. Now for the month of April I donated 25 pts per day to the Japan Earthquake/Tsunami relief. This month I'm aiming for 50 pts per day to the Tornado relief.

For mypoints, we went with a Walmart giftcard, because we were planning to buy a new carseat for DD. So if you are planning a big purchase, (new appliance? new paint or wallpaper for any room in the house? furniture?) get a giftcard for that store to save money.

For Swagbucks, I've been cashing in when I have 700 Swagbucks for the $5 paypal, and the money goes into a vacation fund.

    Thanks for the chance.

Mypoints I usually get a Staples (think ink and paper) or Home Depot GC (always need something for the house).

Swagbucks I always use 450 pts for an Amazon GC. That's the least amount needed for a GC.

Personally I redeem for Amazon Gift Cards to save up for Christmas. Last year my entire Christmas for 3 kiddos was paid for using Amazon Gift Cards.

I know several people, that redeem them for something for themselves for fun. If eating out is something you rarely get to do then maybe a nice restaurant gift card would be the one for you!

    Thanks for the chance!

Gifts are a good idea, then you won't have to pay for them. :) I had to pay for a gift card for my mom for mother's day but she is worth it. (wish I could have gotten it free though lol)
