DD3 In honor of my 500th post! - Doglover is the winner winner!

    Gee I am chatty!

I will give away a $5.00 amazon code, a 20 point coke code, and a WL inspired potluck (that means I will do my best to consider your wishlist when putting it together).

With all the TLC EC chatter, I'm wondering what everyone's savings percentage is? I want your average. and if you are in the 80's tell me how your getting that consistantly with meat, milk, and produce, because after a year and 500 posts! I still have no clue!!

This is a quick one - you have til 2:40 tomorrow EST and I will pick a winner then!

I'm around 60-70% savings. I try and buy meat when it's B1G1 and use two coupons. I also look for clearance meat at Dominick's (Safeway). Most recently I was able to score some $3 meat WTs through a RAOK and again with a trade. I can usually find milk on sale for $2/gallon and will price match at WalMart. I price match eggs too. I only buy produce at loss leader prices and try to stock up on canned/frozen for back-ups. Thanks for the chance!

I only save about 40 - 50% but that's because I don't have the time that I used to have (I work an average of 50 hours a week). Now I have to pick and choose my deals carefully (only have time to hit 1 or 2 stores a week). I go to walmart way too much!

My percent is in my siggy! I have been doing very little stockpiling this year, so that savings combines produce/meat/milk with all my RA deals. The RA deals have really make it go up.

In the healthy & beauty department, I'd say I'm get about 80%-85% savings- Thanks to awesome stores like CVS & RiteAid. In the grocery & household department, I'd say more like 60%. I'd love to say more, but with the increase of food prices, it's hard sometimes!!

I average around 25-30%. I want to buy six of one thing when it's on sale, but I never manage to have enough coupons for the deal. Maybe I need to use a clipping service. What's everyones secret to the high percentages?

Amylynne - I will admit I have stared at your siggy many many times trying to figure out how you are accomplishing this. 9K in debt reduction in 3 months means 3K a month that blows my mind.

And the 100 in SB, I am on that all the time and I still only get about 10.00 a month...
