Kristy, Snow White is scary!! There is a potential ax murderer at the beginning who is supposed to get Snow White's heart for the witch. Then the witch poisons her with the apple. My girls have not seen it! Aladdin has a scary part, Little Mermaid has a scary part, Sleeping Beauty has a scary part, and they won't watch Toy Story 3 because the ending is so sad and not really appropriate for kids.

Om goodness, you are right!! OK, snow white is off the list for a bit..LOL. Isn't it funny how these movies I know I have loved forever have these parts in it. Have your girls watched the Princess and the frog yet? We watched that when it first came out and I thought it was cute but was surprised by the shadows....Dominic was a little younger so I think it went over him. How about the Hunchback?

They love Princess and the Frog. At first the shadows didn't scare Elise, but then they did, so we either went fast through the scary parts or we talked about how it was a movie and it wasn't real. A Bug's Life gave Elise nightmares! She saw about 5 seconds of the big bug and was done lol. We haven't seen Hunchback yet. They love Wall-E especially because they're in outer space. Pocahontas has a scary part. As far as I can tell, Cinderella is okay for them.

You know we have not seen Wall-e yet, will have to check it out. Also speaking of Disney don't know if any one else watches but Dominic discovered about a week or so ago the Mickey Mouse club show. He loves it, it is really cute and I think really good teaching show

Does anyone have a Disney movie they really didn't care for?
Mine would be Pinocchio, don't know why but is in on the bottom of the like list..LOL

Thanks Julie..I haven't seen that movie in so long....trying to think if there is anything really scary in it..LOL Every disney movie I love I put it in and then there is a scary part (for Dominic anyway) that i forget about.

Like I put in Beauty and the Beast and forgot about the wolf attack....

Well Aladdin and Lion King are actually my faves and they were already taken.

Yep I love the lion King too. Dominic did good with that one, he only seemed uncomfortable when Mufasa didn't get up. He was "Mommy what is the matter with him?" It was sad... Which is why I haven't done Bambi yet.

Have you noticed that alot of times there is a parent missing in a movie or they die during it?

Yeah, it is really interesting to me anyway that I remember watching these movies as a kid and of course loving them even today loving them but when you re watch them with your own younger child (Dominic's just turned 5) you tend to notice things or certain things effect you differently then when you watched them before Like I had said before I have put movies in like Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid thinking oh these are going to be fun to watch and then a part comes up and I am like Om goodness why didn't I remember that happened.

Oh another movie is Lady and the Tramp, Dominic like that one and we didn't really see any scary parts in it that I remember. It has been a little while. Another one is Ratatouille...we really like that one too..really cute!!
