I do not care about the contest...but wanted to include the Lazy Woman's Hungarian Goulash or Yankee Pot Roast.

I get compliments on this and it is the EASIEST thing to make!

    Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs of stew meat or 1 1/2 lb roast (I usually will go with a rump, but it really doesn't matter.Note if using roast the water adjustment for increased weight)
    1 Knorr Goulash/Beef Stew mix
2 cups Water (see note below to double recipe)

    Optional:
1 to 2 lbs of wide egg noodles to scoop goulash onto.
If you like a thicker sauce, a gravy thickener.

Throw mix and water into crockpot, mix thoroughly. Place meat into crockpot and cook on low/medium setting. Go to work. When you get home stir. Cook the noodles and serve. If you are going to be available during the day and choose to you may cook in the following way: Cook on high for 1 hour...turn down to low/medium and cook for at least 3 hours or until the meat falls apart with a fork.

I usually will make several crockpots of this, as everyone drives me crazy for leftovers. So, depending on the size of your crockpot, add only 1 cup of water and 1 knorr mix for each addt'l 1 1/2 lbs of meat in one crockpot.

I used to brown the meat first, it is not necessary.
Life is a learning process for helping me in my journey!
PM me if you need anything.
