i know ffirst posters never win but ill start ya off..lol Good luck on your trip! my advice is take own snacks and srinks enough to get you there and back from the tip. or on the way back drive at night that way eveyone is sleeping while you drive and it would be less stressful , portable games, puzzle books for the little ones. extra diaper bag filled for baby. and lots of coffee in a thermos for you ;)

*Be at the parks at rope drop=you can see & do so much in those early hours before the park gets crowded

*We eat breakfast in the hotel room to save time & $.(you could bring your own milk & cereal and donuts if you prefer).

*Use the fast pass machines for the really popular attractions.

*Be sure to visit Mickey's Toontown Fair at Magic Kingdom-this is going to close permanently 2/12/11.

**Take gloves -I'm really glad I did!
They are nice to warm your hands on those chilly evenings.

I"ve never been to Disney, but I have done more long car rides than I care to remember. Schedule a stops along the way -- even if it's just a rest area or a mall to walk around. Pack a picnic to make at least one stop seem extra special.

There are lots of great printables at MomsMinivan.com - 101 Car Games, Travel Games and Road Trip Games for Kids -- Printable Road Trip Activities including bingo games that are great for the car. Your older kids will be able to do these. They are great sanity savers. I've also heard of giving kids a roll of quarters or dimes and they have to pay one coin every time they fight or complain. They keep what they have for spening money.

you can get free cups of water at any quick service place. I think you can also bring in a back pack with water. Saves a ton of money. Also at Magic Kingdom they keep the rides open after the fireworks. You can go back and ride Space mountain and others. Hollywood Studios was our favorite, esp the show.

Doh, I was going to post about walkie talkies, but I see someone else has. These things were wonderful to have. We attached them to the kids and then we each had one. They came in so handy! I loved Epcot Center, but the Magical Kingdom was amazing when they were shooting off fireworks and playing music. We went to the Christmas at Disney so they were also "snow" everywhere.

If you need strollers, they do rent them, and I can't remember how much, but when the kids get tired, it is nice to have one of those to push them in for awhile.

I think ur "contest" is over but I have a pretty cool idea for a car ride...something my grandma did for me when I was younger (granted our car ride was like 23 hrs from MI lol)...she gave each of us (me and my sister) maps with numbered "landmarks" and at each landmark we got a numbered bag with either something to do til the next landmark (game/book/tape), something for the vacay (sunscreen/pool toy) or a treat (candy/chips/juice box) it made the trip MUCH more fund :) might be a little late to plan but maybe next time?!
