I have gotten such great ideas in the RAOK for my Sister and her kids that I am going to give another 50 coupon potluck to a random winner on Wed 5pm CST for ideas on inexpensive gifts for my immediate family.

Here is some background:

Husband is a computer programmer, likes Sci Fi (any movie suggestions), Star Trek (already have lots of books), prefers to eat in than out

My Kids(boy and girl) are young adult college students. My son is recently engaged so I would like to do a joint gift for him and his fiance.

I have 1 Kelloggs/Toy Story Movie voucher already - hoping to get another in time.

Do you have enough stockpile stuff to fix your college students baskets to take back to school with them?

What about the restaurants gift certificates, I think a lot of them are $2 right now for $25 worth.

You could fix the engaged ones, a movie basket night with popcorn, sparkling juice (or wine) if you are so inclined, chocolate, and a movie rental gift card.

for your dd in college - since I still feel like a college girl, what about laundry soap and a roll of quarters.

For DH - If your husband is into Sci-Fi, maybe the new Leonardo DiCaprio movie "Inception".

For DS/fiance - There is nothing I like better than to have a night out with my fiance. So, I would suggest a restaurant GC and two movie tickets (or a GC to the movie theater). Another idea, maybe a wine basket if they are into that sorta thing.

For DD - Maybe a new digital camera (I love getting a new one every couple years) although I don't even have one anymore...There are some great deals right now on them or you can never go wrong with a gift basket. Just simple things you know she likes. If she enjoys bathes, movies, books, etc.

I would get the college kids gift cards for fast food places that they have on campus.

Since your husband likes to eat in, you should make him coupons. 1 for his favorite meal, and 1 for his favorite dessert! Or one of those talking bobble head Star Trek toys.
