What about some of the pudding cups or applesauce cups? My DD is a very picky eater, but even she likes those. :-)
I would take the easy route and buy Rice Krispie Treats, boxes of raisins, fruit snacks like gushers or animal shapes, or those packages of crackers that have a little side of cheese (I think they're called handi snacks.)

Just curious....how are you going to do that one if the snack can't be homemade? Let the kids cut the cheese themselves and then serve little packs of crackers? Just wondering.....DD has a classroom party tomorrow and someone is supposed to be bringing cheese and crackers of some sort too.
Or maybe I am not understanding what they mean by homemade? I was assuming you had to buy something that was all prepackaged.
