“Give Thanks Train”
The leaves are changing color. Frost is in the air. Picking apples. Corn Mazes. Football. Harvesting our crops. Getting ready for winter. It’s time to give thanks for all the great things of the year.
Time commitment?
6 Weeks.12 assigned envelopes (2 per week).
minimum of 25 coupons in each envelope (more is always encouraged, but do WATCH your postage.)
Who can ride?
iTrader rating of 5 or higher PLUS no negatives.
Currently riding 4 or less trains.
This is a simple, six-week ride.

After reading this WHOLE LONG THREAD and making sure you understand all the rules, post a reply below to let me know you want to claim a ticket.
Then you must ALSO send me a PM with the following:
* “Give Thanks train” in the title
* your full name
* your mailing address
* a link to your wishlist
*Please note: you can ride up to 5 trains (including conducting) at a time on HCW. If you are already on five trains, don’t sign up. You can catch the next one!
*This train has six different mailing days:
* Week one: Tuesday, October 19 (no coupons expiring before November 2)
* Week two: Tuesday, October 26 (no coupons expiring before November 9)
* Week three: Tuesday, November 2 (no coupons expiring before November 16)
* Week four: Tuesday, November 9 (no coupons expiring before November 23)
* Week five: Tuesday, November 16 (no coupons expiring before November 30)
* Week six: Tuesday, November 23 (no coupons expiring before December 7)

*There is no limit on the number of riders who can take this ride. If you meet the requirements and wish to ride, you can claim a ticket.
I will accept riders through Noon (12PM, EST) on Saturday, October 16.
*On each of the six mailing dates, you will mail out two envies to the two riders you are assigned (I will write a match ups post that tells each of you who you've been assigned for each of the six weeks). So, you will be mailing out a total of twelve assigned envies over the six weeks. You will also receive two envies each week from other riders.
* Each week I will mail out the match ups for that week along with mailing addresses and wish list links.
In order to take this ride (there are a lot of rules, but please read them):
*You must be a member of the Trader group on HCW and have an iTrader rating of with NO negative ratings.
*You must be able to mail envies on or before the mailing dates given.
*You must be able to send out ATLEAST 150 quality coupons over six weeks. That's a minimum of 25 coupons inside each of your eight envies over the four-week period. I say atleast 150 because it is always wise to include more (you pay for 1 oz. in your envelope with 1 first class stamp, make sure your envelope weighs close to that, but not over!).

*I’d like to give folks a chance to use the coupons before they expire. So, make sure that the coupons don’t expire within 2 weeks of when you mail the envelope, please.
*You must have a posted, updated wishlist to ride.
When you take a ticket, you are agreeing to:
*…mail the twelve envies as described above.
*…write your HCW user name, “Give Thanks train on HCW” AND the Week # on the back of each envie you send.
*…post promptly in this thread when you send and when you receive envies.
*… remail your envie if it has not been received at the two week point. Joining this train means you agree to this rule. Please remember, that when you sign up to join a train, not only are you agreeing to the specific guidelines of that train but the train rules as posted HERE in general.
***Failing to follow the rules of the trains or not sending an envelope falls under a bad trade. You can be reported for this and be listed as a bad trader.
***Report a missing envie within two weeks of the date it was posted as mailed. After two weeks from the mailing date, any envies that are not reported as received in the train thread will be ASSUMED to have been received unless they are reported as missing. Again, signing up for this train means you agree to this rule.
Additional fine print:
*No baby, no pet, no meds, no alcohol beverage, and no oddball products that very few members use UNLESS you have an exact wishlist match. In other words, no junk!
*Limit of one copy of each coupon unless it is an exact match to a wishlist. An EXACT match is exactly that… if I say on my wishlist 75/1 Superpretzels, 50/2 is NOT an exact match. If you have and exact wishlist match, then duplicates are encouraged!
*You can always send more than 25. If you want to include more than one of a certain coupon, or some with a short expiration date, that is OK, but it has to be above the 25 coupon minimum. And if you do send extras, watch your postage!
*** Let’s share with each other what we are thankful for. Include a note in your envelopes of what you are thankful for! ***
*Printables, store-specific coupons, BTFE, Campbell’s Labels, Coke Codes, Pepsi Codes, etc., are great to send if the member can use them.
*Rebates and TMF forms are GREAT to include IF they are for items in the wish list (just be sure they can be used in the state the receiver is in!).
*If for any reason you mail out late (life happens), post in the thread when it went out so your receiving rider can watch for it.
*Please leave feedback for fellow riders who send to you!
*Please also note that this is a potluck train! That means that while it is nice to try to match the wish lists of your assigned recipients, do not feel that every coupon has to come from their wish list. Just do the best you can. As long as you adhere to the other rules about expiration dates, minimum number of coupons and mailing on the mailing dates, you should be fine.
*You can always PM the member directly if you have questions about what they can or cannot use.
*And finally, if you have questions about the progress of this train or whether a trader sent you an envie that does not meet the requirements for this train, you can always post your question in the train thread or contact me via PM.
