I think I get advice from my friends with kids, I read a blog about raising kids with someone i've BECOME friends with, and my mom gets to listen to my woes ;)

I first turn to friends who have children similar in age as my own. I don't really ask my family b/c they it's been 38 years since they had kids, that I'm certain some things have changed.
