OK let's be honest-this has been a mediocre season. But I like both the finalists and I'll be happy with whomever wins. I hate finale night because they have to sing the god awful coronation songs which are usually so lame. I just want Lee to smile that little cute smile tonight and I'll be happy. Really, that's all that counts.

wow, this is a tough one to call. both are great singers......i think Crystal has been more consistent in her performances, but i think Lee is more marketable.

I agree, the Idol machine can do a lot more with Lee's style so he'll win. Crystal will do very well for herself too even if she doesn't win. I agree, it was a ho-hum season but the two best did rise to the top.

While Crystal has an out of this world voice, I just think Lee will be chosen as the next American Idol. I personally think he's grown the most. Crystal will be more than fine if she doesn't win, I'm sure she's destined for a rockin' career.

I have to go with Lee, and if he showed up on my doorstep and asked me to go somewhere (anywhere) with him, again, I'd have to go with Lee!! rofl

Even if he doesn't win, I think he's going to have a remarkable career!!!


On the radio this morning, the dj was yapping about an article he read in a magazine where the winner of American Idol wasn't guaranteed to be a big money maker and that the winner's earnings are dwindling as AI goes on. All this was because last year's winner Kris Allen only made 600K-ish in his year of winning compared to David Cook's first year where he made 2 mil. Well no kidding Kris Allen wasn't as amazing as David Cook, of course his numbers were lower!!! AI is a great platform for stars to get their start, but it still comes down to your talent and marketability when the season is done.
